Home care website design that converts families.

Most home care websites read like brochures. Families searching for help need trust signals, fast load times, and a clear path to book a call — not a wall of stock photos. We design and build websites that turn anxious families into assessment calls.

Why most home care websites fail to convert families.

Families searching for home care are often in crisis mode — a parent has fallen, a hospital discharge is coming, or cognitive decline has accelerated faster than expected. They're not browsing. They're evaluating. Your website has seconds to answer three questions: Can you help us? Are you trustworthy? How do we reach you right now?

Slow load times cost you inquiries

53% of mobile users abandon a page that takes more than 3 seconds to load. Most home care websites we audit take 4–7 seconds on mobile. Google also uses Core Web Vitals — including Largest Contentful Paint — as a direct ranking signal. A slow site loses on both fronts: it frustrates families and drops your search position simultaneously.

No service-area pages means no local traffic

If your website has one homepage and no city-specific pages, Google has nothing to rank for "[city] home care" searches. Families searching in your coverage area find competitors who built the pages you didn't. A homepage targeting "home care services" will not outrank a dedicated page titled "Home Care in [City], [State]" — the intent match is too different.

Generic design that doesn't build trust fast

Families choosing home care for a parent are making a high-stakes decision under stress. Your website has 8 seconds to signal "trustworthy, professional, and capable." Stock photos, outdated design, and unclear calls to action fail that test. Competitors who have invested in professional design consistently win the call over agencies with legacy websites — even when the actual service quality is similar.

What a high-converting home care website looks like.

A high-converting home care website is built around the decisions a family makes — not the services you want to showcase. Every element above the fold should reduce uncertainty and make it frictionless to take the next step.

  • Clear H1 above the fold with primary keyword
  • Phone number in top nav (clickable on mobile)
  • Consultation booking form above the fold
  • Service-area coverage shown visually
  • Trust signals: Google rating, years in business, HIPAA badge
  • Fast: under 1.5s load time, 95+ Lighthouse score

Home care website design services — what's included.

Every project is scoped, designed, and built around your specific market — your service areas, your differentiators, and the search intent of families in your coverage zone. Here's what every engagement includes.

Custom home care website design

No templates. Every page is designed around the decisions families make when choosing home care. Visual hierarchy leads directly to the phone call or booking form. We consider the emotional context of every visitor — they are often frightened, overwhelmed, and in a hurry — and design for that reality.

Service-area landing pages

One page per city or coverage zone, each targeting "[city] home care" and "[city] in-home care" keywords. These are the pages that rank locally and convert the traffic they receive. Each page is written with real local context — not spun content — so Google sees genuine geographic relevance.

Mobile-first home care website

Over 70% of home care searches happen on mobile — usually on a family member's phone in a parking lot or hospital room. We build mobile-first, test on real devices, and ensure the phone number is one tap away at all times. Tap targets, font sizes, and form fields are optimised for thumbs before desktop.

WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility

Required for healthcare-adjacent services and a growing area of legal exposure under ADA digital accessibility requirements. We test with screen readers, verify proper colour contrast ratios, implement full keyboard navigation, and add alt text to every image. Every build ships with an accessibility audit report.

CRM-integrated booking forms

Your consultation form connected directly to your CRM. Every inquiry is captured, tagged with the page it came from, and entered into your follow-up sequence automatically. No manual data entry, no lost leads from forms that email a generic inbox. We integrate with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, and most major CRMs.

SEO-ready home care website structure

Proper H1–H3 heading hierarchy, schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage), fast load times, and canonical URLs built in from day one. We don't retrofit SEO after launch — it's baked into every template, every city page, and every meta tag. Your new site is indexable and ranking-ready the moment it goes live.

How we design and launch your home care website in 3 weeks.

Three weeks sounds fast. It is — because we've built this process for home care agencies specifically. Every step is scoped, every deliverable is defined, and you review and approve before we move forward.

01
Week 1

Market research, wireframes, and copy

We start with a competitive audit of home care agency websites in your market. Who's ranking? What are they saying? What are they missing? We wireframe every key page before any design starts — this is where we decide what families see above the fold. You'll review and approve all wireframes before we open Figma.

Week 2

Custom design, city pages, and CRM integration

Design built in Figma, developed in clean HTML/PHP. City landing pages built for every service area. Consultation form connected to your CRM. All work runs in parallel to stay on schedule — design, development, and content happen simultaneously so nothing is waiting on anything else.

Week 3

Testing, DNS cutover, and 30-day support

Accessibility audit, speed test, cross-browser QA, Google Search Console verified, Google Analytics 4 configured. DNS cutover handled by us. 30 days of post-launch support follows: copy tweaks, bug fixes, Search Console monitoring, and answers to any questions your team has about managing the new site.

Live site + 30 days support

Home care website design for multi-location agencies.

Multi-location home care agencies have different needs from single-location operators. Every location needs its own Google Business Profile, its own landing page with local keywords, and a site architecture that avoids duplicate content while still targeting each market independently. We've built this architecture for agencies covering 3 locations and agencies covering 30.

Per-location landing pages

Dedicated pages targeting local keywords for every service area, each with unique copy and schema markup.

Centralized nav with location switcher

Clean user experience that helps families find their nearest location without confusion or dead ends.

Schema markup per location

LocalBusiness schema with full address, phone, and service area data for each location — maximising map pack eligibility.

Unified analytics per location

GA4 and Tag Manager configured so you see traffic, conversions, and form submissions broken down by location in one dashboard.

Built on a fast, modern tech stack.

Every tool we use has a specific job. Nothing is included because it's trendy — every dependency earns its place by improving speed, conversion, or maintainability.

Home care website design — frequently asked questions.

Questions we hear from home care agency owners before they start a website project. If yours isn't here, book a call.

Ask a question
Do you build on WordPress or custom code?
We build on a lightweight PHP/HTML stack by default. It's faster, cleaner, and easier to maintain than WordPress. If you already have WordPress content you need to migrate or your team needs a CMS to self-edit, we can accommodate WordPress — but we don't default to it.
Will the site rank on Google immediately?
Not immediately — SEO takes time. What we build is the technical foundation Google requires: fast load times, proper heading structure, service-area pages targeting local keywords, and schema markup. The rankings follow over 60–120 days as Google crawls and indexes your pages.
What's included in the 3-week delivery?
Up to 12 core pages (homepage, about, services, contact, city pages) plus a blog template, all city pages for your service areas, CRM form integration, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and 30 days post-launch support.
Do you write the content or do we supply it?
We write everything. You provide a 1-hour content interview at the start of Week 1. We handle all copywriting, SEO optimisation of the copy, and image sourcing (we use licensed stock photography for now — your own photos can always be swapped in later).
Can you redesign our existing site without rebuilding it from scratch?
Yes, for some sites. If your current site has a reasonable technical foundation, we can redesign the front-end without rebuilding the back-end. For most home care agency websites we've audited, a full rebuild is faster and produces better results than trying to work within an existing system.
What does WCAG 2.1 AA compliance actually mean?
It means your site is accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. For healthcare-adjacent businesses, it reduces legal exposure under ADA digital accessibility requirements. Practically: proper colour contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and alt text on images.
Do you handle hosting?
We can recommend reliable hosting (Cloudflare + a PHP host) and handle the setup, or we can deploy to hosting you already control. Hosting costs are separate from our design fee.
What happens after the 30-day support period?
You own the site fully. You can manage it yourself, hire a developer to maintain it, or work with us on an ongoing retainer for content updates and SEO work. Most clients who want ongoing SEO pair the website project with our Local SEO plan.
How do you handle city landing pages for service areas we might expand into?
We build the pages you need at launch. Additional city pages after launch are available at a flat fee per page, or included in our Local SEO retainer. We structure the site from day one so adding new pages doesn't require a redesign.
Do you offer e-commerce or patient portal functionality?
No. We focus on marketing and lead generation: sites that turn visitors into inquiry calls and form submissions. Payment processing, care management portals, and employee intranets are outside our scope.
